Developers will be offered hybrid projects with online and offline modes. This will allow the single-player part of a game to run without an internet connection while retaining online features where they are needed. [1 · Reuters]

Later in 2026, Roblox plans to add a scene generator that accepts text and reference images, as well as AI-controlled non-player characters for testing levels. According to the company, users have created around 9,000 games since Build’s initial launch, and 71% of creators had not previously used Roblox Studio. [1 · Reuters] [2 · TechCrunch]
